As soon as the war broke out almost all the people of his village, even his family members, left the village for India. But the old man did not move anywhere mainly for his dear pets. His neighbors, who did not move, requested the old man to leave the village and go to any place he liked, but he was determined not to leave the village whatever danger would befall him because of the intensity of the war. He told his neighbors optimistically that nothing would happen to him. He kept himself busy all day long with the maintenance of his pets. Sometimes, his entire village was raided by the enemies. The enemies killed some of the villagers. But the old man was beyond the enemy's target, mainly considering his age. One morning, his house was raided. The enemy forces checked his house thoroughly, but they did no harm to the old man. They spent some time with him making fun instead. The enemy forces also made fun of his pets. The war was over, the villagers came back to the residences.
