In society, usually, we have a lot of friends. Some of them are good and some of them are bad. Thus, best friends are those who stand by us both in weal and woe. In society, the number of good friends is very few. Among these, some friends are very exceptional. We find them every time. They are real and actually best friends. In fact, best friends are the gifts of heaven. Best friends never leave their friends and always are ready to sacrifice anything for their friends. I am a school-going student. I have a few close friends. But Rafiq is my best friend. He is my classmate as well. I have known him for long ten years. It was in the year 1995 that I was admitted to a local primary school. There I first met him. Since then we have been the best friends to each other. He comes of a respectable Muslim family. His father is the Principal of a college. He is kind, considerate and sympathetic. He is very helpful. He is honest and sincere. He has fellow-feelings. He has all the above mentioned qualities and I like him for all these qualities. I like to gossip with him for his open-mindedness. also like to discuss various topics with him. But the topics I discuss with him more are to share personal matters, how to overcome weakness in academic subjects and what not. His aim is to be a doctor because he wants to serve his village people selflessly. However, when we were in class eight, I fell ill seriously. I was admitted to a hospital. One night, he passed the whole night sitting beside my bed.
