উত্তর: Boat Capsize in Karnaphuli with Over 25 Passengers Salam. Chattogram. April 7, 2019 : Three women died when a boat carrying 25 passengers capsized in the Karnaphuli yesterday. Witnesses said, an overloaded passenger boat capsized in the river Karnaphuli at 4 pm when a gusty wind began to blow. Some people were able to swim ashore while some others were rescued by a fishing trawler that was passing by. However, the trawler could not rescue all the passengers. Members of the Fire Brigade recovered three dead bodies from the river after an hour of the incident. The victims were identified as Salma (40). Shewli (35) and Jaheda (45) who were all residents of Feni. Some passengers are still missing. The bodies were sent to the Chattogram Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
