The people of the country are very concerned about this evil giant. People being victims of it, are dying. And And those who are surviving, are being crippled or disabled. It seems road accidents are not to be stopped. These accidents are frequently taking place on the busy roads and highways. Following road mishaps, people burst into anger and indulge in destructive activities. At present, road accidents are occurring so repeatedly that people get frightened to get into a bus. However, the main reason of road accidents is carelessness and whimsical (খেয়ালি) attitude of the drivers. Besides, narrow road, defective vehicles, unskilled driving, drug addiction, overcrowdedness or overloading in the vehicles, indifference to traffic rules, etc. are responsible for road mishaps. The authority concerned must take all these things into account and take proper steps to stop road accidents. The drivers who cause road accidents should be judged and punished in an exemplary way. The people of the country earnestly (আন্তরিকতার সাথে) want safe roads. They want to get rid of this destructive evil.
