Dhaka: 24 December 2019: A Cultural Programme was held recently at the auditorium of Shaheed Police Smrity College, Dhaka in a befitting manner [গণিত] mark the 'Nabanna Utsab [গণিত] . Presided over by the Principal of the college the function was attended by the local MP as the chief guest while the DC of Dhaka was present as the special guest. Distinguished guests and guardians also attended the inaugural function. The events of the day-long programme included music, recitation, dance, story telling, extempore speech, pantomime and chorus. The function was followed by distribution of prizes. The chief guest delivered a valuable speech. In his speech, he gave much importance [গণিত] the need for such a programme in the college. He encouraged the students for their laudable performances. A senior assistant professor conducted the programme that was concluded by staging a one-act play 'Kabar [গণিত] written by Munier Chowdhury.
