He buys goods at a cheap rate but sells them at a higher price. He is a very clever man. He knows well how to attract people, especially children and women. He behaves very politely. He can convince his customers with his attractive behavior. Usually, he sells toys, biscuits, chocolates, candy etc for the children. For the women, he brings bangles, ribbons, safety pins, garments, and other necessary articles for domestic use. A street hawker sometimes cheats on his customers. Very often he plays tricks and makes his customers confused. A street hawker carries his articles on his head on his shoulder or in a push cart. He moves along the roads shouting and calling the names of different items to attract the attention of his customers. A street hawker usually comes at a time when the male members are out of their homes and the children as well as the women are free from household work. But a street hawker sometimes does good to us. We can get many articles in our moment of urgent need. To earn his livelihood and for his survival, he sometimes takes advantage of the weakness and simplicity of women and children. But he is not so bad and wicked as we generally think.
