Adolescents constitute a nation's core resource for national renewal and growth. Adolescence is a period in life when transition from childhood [গণিত] adulthood takes place and behaviours and life styles are shaped. According [গণিত] the World Health Organisation (WHO), adolescence is the period which shapes the future of girls [গণিত] and boys [গণিত] lives. There are 28 million adolescents in Bangladesh; 13.7 million of them are girls and 14.3 million boys. The situation of adolescent girls in Bangladesh is characterised by inequality and subordination within the family and society. This inequality leads [গণিত] widespread practice of child marriage, marginalisation or exclusion from health, education and economic opportunities, and vulnerability [গণিত] violence and sexual abuse. In Bangladesh, the legal age of marriage is 18 for girls and 21 for boys. However, 33 percent of adolescent girls are married before the age of 15 and 60 percent become mothers by the age of 19. Research finds that adolescents with higher level of education and from more affluent families tend [গণিত] marry at a later age. Boys, however, become ready for marriage only after several years of adolescence and young adulthood. Write the synonyms or antonyms of the words as directed below: (a) core (synonym) (b) style (synonym) (c) violence (synonym) (d) inequality (antonym) (e) constitute (synonym) (f) abuse (antonym) (g) legal (synonym) (h) affluent (antonym) (i) widespread (synonym) (j) growth (antonym)

4.Write down the theme of the following poem within 50 words. Because I have seen Bengal's face, I will seek no more, The world has not anything more beautiful to show me. Waking up in darkness, gazing at the fig-tree, I behold Dawn's swallows roosting under huge umbrella-like leaves. I look around me and discover a leafy dome, Jaam, Kanthal, Bat, Hijol and Aswatha trees all in a hush, Shadowing clumps of cactus and zedoary bushes. When long, long ago, Chand came in his honeycombed boat To a blue Hijal, Bat, Tamal shade near the Champa, he too sighted Bengal's incomparable beauty. One day, alas, in the Ganguri, On a raft, as the waning moon sank on the river's sandbanks, Behula too saw countless aswaths bats besides golden ricefields And heard the thrush's soft song, One day, arriving, in Amara, Where gods held court, when she danced like a desolate wagtail, Bengal's rivers, fields, flowers, wailed like strings of bells on her feet.

(Not more than 50 words) I love to rise in a summer morn, When the birds sing on every tree; The distant huntsman winds his horn, And the skylark sings with me: O what sweet company! (Not more than 50 words) [Unit-8; Lesson-2 (B)] Those Winter Sundays by- Robert Hayden Sundays too my father got up early and put his clothes on in the blueback cold, then with cracked hands that ached from labor in the weekday weather made banked fires blaze. No one ever thanked him. I'd wake and hear the cold splintering, breaking. When the rooms were warm, he'd call, and slowly I would rise and dress, fearing the chronic angers of that house, Speaking indifferently to him, who had driven out the cold and polished my good shoes as well. What did I know, what did I know of love's austere and lonely offices?
