উত্তর: Manners and Etiquette Etiquette and manners are very important in life and society. The word 'etiquette [গণিত] comes from a French word meaning the rules of correct behaviour in society. The word 'manners [গণিত] means the behaviour that is thought [গণিত] be polite in a particular society or culture. Etiquette and manners help us lead our life smoothly and pleasantly. Though there is a relation between etiquette and manners, there is certainly a difference between them. Social etiquette means the formal rules of correct and polite behaviour in society or among the members of a particular profession while manners can be either good or bad. We learn etiquette and manners in our childhood from our parents, families and various institutions, such as schools, colleges or professional bodies. In addition, there are rules of behaviour we have [গণিত] follow in a company. Because we are social beings and have [গণিত] consider the effect of our behaviour on others. For example, we should not speak loudly in a rude manner especially in front of the elders. Again, etiquette and manners in Bangladesh are not the same as those in America. It is very important [গণিত] be well mannered and have the proper sense of etiquette. They play a great role in maintaining discipline and peace in life. If these are not followed in society or in an institution, there reigns a disorderly and chaotic atmosphere. In society, everybody dislikes or hates an ill-mannered person.
