উত্তর: The Victory Day The 16th of December is the Victory Day of Bangladesh because Bangladesh became victorious on this very day after a nine-month sanguinary war against the Pakistani occupation forces. The Victory Day signifies the triumph of justice over tyranny. Our victory reminds us that tyranny can never last long; it must give in to justice in the long run. We celebrate this day every year with great pleasure and joy. We put floral wreaths at the National Memorial at Savar. The nation pays glowing tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing floral wreaths at the National Memorial. The heroes of our country who laid down their valuable lives of their own accord for the cause of the independence of our country, are known as martyrs of our Liberation War. On this day, we remember with profound respect and gratitude those heroic sons of the soil at the expense of whose blood our victory has been achieved. We feel great sympathy and sorrow for those martyrs. Their strength and courage always inspire us so much. The supreme sacrifice made by the martyrs will act as a perennial source of inspiration for us to work for the country.
