21 March 2026 Dinajpur, Rangpur Dear Jihan, I've been meaning to write to you ever since I heard the news about your scholarship. First of all. I want you to know how proud I am of you. Studying in Japan is an incredible (অবিশ্বাস্য) opportunity. and you deserve every bit of it. That said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have mixed feelings. Part of me is excited for you, but another part feels uneasy, mostly because I worry about how far this journey might take you from the person and the place you've always called home. Japan has a rich and beautiful culture, but it's also very different from ours, and I wonder (মনে মনে ভাবা) how easy it will be to hold on to your own sense of identity while trying to adapt and belong.
