Writing composition Patriotism

উত্তর

Patriotism Patriotism is a noble virtue. Patriotism is love of and devotion \to one's country. The word is derived from the Latin word for 'fatheranditliterallymeansloveforthefather^{\prime} and it literally means love for the fatherland, or the land of one's father. A true patriot is selfless lover of his country. His sincere desire is serveitsbestinterestsinallpossible\to serve its best interests in all possible ways. Love for one's own country purifies mind, removes the narrowness of heart and helps one beselflessly\to be selflessly inspired. Man becomes immortal by loving his country, and his patriotism prepares him faceanyoddchallengeasfleetingand\to face any odd challenge as fleeting and trivial. In 1971, the people of our motherland got spirited with patriotism and participated in the Liberation War without caring for their own lives. Our patriotic heroes fought with robust patriotism and thwarted the organised assault of the stronger Pakistani forces. Titumir and Tipu Sultan were defeated by the British but their love for motherland is unparalleled. After the defeat, Titumir's dead body was saluted by the English General. The valiant tale of patriotic Khudiram of the then Indian subcontinent was an example for the contemporary juvenile heroes and till today Khudiram's hanging by the British. is reviewed with applause through singing. Value of an individual's life is duly assessed with the magnitude of his patriotism. The creed of politics is patriotism, but the selfish and ambitious role of today's so- called politicians is disappointing. Patriotism begets humanity. A sign of patriotism is implied in the sword of Isa Khan. Rabindranath and Nazrul Islam kept patriotism high in their writings and songs. Actually everybody should perform his assigned duty and \end{eavour}\to contribute \to the state welfare. Homeland is a great asset \to men. At the time of our country's distress or danger we should be ready standby\to stand by her, workfor\to work for her, laydownourlivesfor\to lay down our lives for her, if need be. This law should be enforced immediately.

Writing composition Environment Pollution

উত্তর

Environment Pollution The thing which makes the world most worried is environment pollution. Our environment comprises the elements that surround us. Air, water, the sun, the moon, weather, climate and everything fall under the category of environment. The world is producing millions of tons of domestic rubbish and toxic industrial waste each year, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find suitable locations to get rid of all the refuse. We know that air is an important element of our environment and our air is polluted by smoke. Everyday huge amounts of smoke are emitted from mills and factories, vehicles, powerhouses, etc. All these kinds of smoke pollute the air. Due to air pollution man is suffering from various diseases such as pneumonía, bronchitis. Above all, air pollution is destroying ecological balance. It causes global warmth and climate change. Consequently, various natural disasters are occurring. Water, another vital element of the environment, is also polluted in different ways. Man pollutes water by throwing waste into it. Farmers use chemical fertilizers and insecticides in their fields. When rain and floods wash away some of these chemicals, they get mixed with the water in rivers, canals and ponds. Mills and factories also throw their poisonous chemicals and waste products into rivers and canals and thus pollute water. Polluted water is very harmful to humans and animals. By drinking polluted water men and animals suffer from fatal diseases and die. Moreover, it causes skin diseases. Sound pollution is another hindrance to a calm and serene life. There are so many disturbing sounds made by men and machines. Making loud sounds without caring for human disturbance is a cognizable offence. People suffering from hypertension or heart disease may have heart attack or stroke if they hear loud sounds. Even loud sound may affect the mental upbringing of a baby..E Greenhouse effect is a recent concept which means the adverse effects caused by the rise in the temperature in the climate of the world. Indiscriminate deforestation throughout the world is also one of the causes of creating imbalance in the climate and it, in turn, helps greenhouse effect to intensify. Government, semi-government, non-government organizations should come forward with the programmes of saving environment. All of us should remember the importance of the slogan, "Save the environment, ensure the healthier life."

Writing composition Impact of Climate Change in Bangladesh

উত্তর

Climate Change We take various elements from nature for our use. But we all too often behave rudely towards nature. It has destroyed the balance of nature. The elements of nature are limited but most of the time we forget it. However, unplanned urbanization and industrialization have affected the world environment enormously. The enormous pollution of the environment is the most significant cause of the change in the world climate. Bangladesh is also under the threat of it. The climate is changing mostly because of the greenhouse effect. The balance of the environment is breaking down for increasing the average temperature owing to the greenhouse effect. According to the observation of the IPCC, the average temperature of Bangladesh has increased from 0.2 to I degree Celsius. Bangladesh is under a great threat because it is in the Asian region. Flood, cyclone, high tide, etc. will increase due to the change in the climate, It will damage our assets and lives massively specially in our coastal areas. According to the opinion of the IPCC, the sea level of the Bay of Bengal will increase about one metre by this century. Rainfall will increase abruptly in the rainy areas due to the change in climate. So, the global warming is increasing the threat to our coastal areas and low lands. On the one hand, global warming will increase the rainfall in the rainy areas and on the other hand, it will stop the rainfall in the dry areas. So, the desertification will happen in some areas of our country owing to the change in climate. The average temperature of Bangladesh will increase up to 2 degree Celsius by the year 2050. It will diminish the production of rice upto 10% and wheat upto 30% due to the shortage of water for irrigation. The temperature and the salinity of the sea water are increasing because of the climate change. It will spoil the fishes of the sea and the mangrove trees and plants of the forest. Bangladesh is under the great threat of the global warming. The change in climate is affecting Asia greatly. Bangladesh, however, should take the following precautions to face the challenges of the global warming: (a) To stop the use of CFC and other greenhouse gases. (b) To stop the use of firewoods and bio-fuels. (c) To expand the programmes of planting trees all over the country, specially in the coastal areas. (d) To monitor the behaviours of the world climate and take decisions accordingly. (e) To increase the public awareness about protecting the environment. We should prepare effective and sustainable policies and strategies to face the challenges of the climate change. It is our duty to remove the imbalance of nature

Writing composition Wonders of Modern Science

উত্তর

Science is a human product. Every invention of modern science is a wonderful phenomenon. Of all the inventions of modern science, I am going to discuss a few that surprise me most. The television is a wonderful modern invention. It has killed both time and distance. The television brings the whole world closer. In the television, we do not listen to news only: we can also enjoy music, dances, theatres, sports and games, interviews of great persons, cultural and educational programmes, etc. with the pictures of the persons who perform them. The television is part and parcel of the life of modern people. Of all the wonders of modern science, the computer is the most striking to me. It works just like Aladin's wonderful lamp. It can solve a great problem in the twinkling of an eye. With the help of the computer, human beings can hold time to some extent in their grips. The artificial satellite is another wonder of modern science. It is used for a variety of purposes. Each satellite is designed for a specific mission. The first artificial satellite named Sputnik-I was sent by the then USSR on 4 October 1957. Satellites are of different types such as weather satellites, earth satellites, communication satellites and navigation satellites. A satellite is sent to move around the axis of the earth. It is placed hundreds or thousands of miles away from the earth's surface. From there, it observes the earth very efficiently and sends necessary information about related aspects. The mobile phone is another wonder of modern science. It is one of the latest editions of communication technology. It is a small device that can be carried in hand or pocket. It is a miracle that by means of the mobile phone a man walking along a street or riding on a vehicle or shopping in the market or travelling a distant part of the land, can speak to his friends or relatives hundreds of miles away and pass valuable pieces of information to them. It is proved to be a very important and useful device for all classes of people. Whatever modern science has invented, is wonderful. One is not less wonderful than the other..

Writing composition The Necessity of Compulsory ICT Education in Bangladesh

উত্তর

Compulsory ICT Education in Bangladesh Present civilization is the gift of science. The Information Communication Technology (ICT) plays a vital role in the development of our country. Bangladesh has introduced compulsory ICT education in schools and colleges for making the country a digital one. ICT includes computers, Internet, wire and wireless connectivity systems, broadcast hardware and many other accessories. 21st century is the age of technological development. To keep pace with the world development, ICT knowledge is a must. ICT has great potential to improve the standard of education. ICT can play a great role in providing access to learning materials for almost every subject. It also plays a significant role in spreading open and distance learning all over the world. We are dreaming of a digital Bangladesh. Without the development of our ICT knowledge, the dream of digital Bangladesh would be only a dream for the nation. A technology or a machine cannot be functional without a person behind. That's why we should put emphasis on compulsory ICT education. ICT is a combination of physical backbone and intellect. Computer systems, network machinery, software, wire and wireless connectivity systems, broadcast hardware and many other accessories are the physical backbone. The trained persons behind the backbone are the intellect. To materialize the idea of digital Bangladesh, development of countrywide physical backbone and adequate number of human resources are the basic needs. Building of an IT educated workforce is the most important segment of compulsory ICT education. For a future Bangladesh a tech savvy generation is significantly important. This generation will be the driving force for a digitalized and prosperous nation. To develop this kind of generation,, compulsory ICT education is needed. In fine, it is said that considering the immense benefits of ICT, Bangladesh has given much importance to the expansion of ICT education and so Bangladesh Government has made ICT education compulsory for the students of secondary and higher secondary levels. But we have to go a long way to reap its harvest. We should therefore, make a concerted effort to develop ICT sector with a view to achieving an overall development of the country.
