The robber laughed, thinking it was a joke, and left him. Another robber asked him the same question, and he gave the same answer. Puzzled, the robbers took him to their leader. The leader asked him again, and Abdul Quadir repeated his answer, showing them where the coins were hidden. The leader was astonished and asked, "Why did you tell the truth when you could have hidden it?" The boy replied, "My mother advised me never to tell a lie."
