Then he touched his chair and was surprised to see that it also turned into gold. As he entered the palace, his little daughter came running to him. He took her in his arms but alas! she turned into gold. Then the king could realize the danger of the golden touch. He understood his mistake and prayed to the wise god to take away the golden touch. The wise god took the golden touch away and the girl became a human being again. Finally, the king became very happy and grew wiser.
