উত্তর: A Whimsical King Once there lived a king in an island. He was a king without wisdom. There were green trees everywhere in the island. One day a strange idea peeped into his mind. The king decided to build a magnificent palace in the island. He was always absorbed in planning that palace. He dreamt the palace when he slept. So he ordered him men to cut down all the trees. Some opposed the king's idea but he did not pay heed to their opposition. The king became very cruel when anybody disobeyed his order. Then instantly he killed him. So people were compelled to carry out the king's order. They cut down all the trees. As a result, a great change took place in the climate of the island. There was no rain on the islands. So crops did not grow well. People did not get enough food to eat. They became weak and tired. There were terrible heat-waves on the island. People suffered a lot. Suddenly, floods visited the island. They brought untold miseries for the people. The people could not irrigate their fields well. All these things made life miserable for the citizens of the island. Gradually, the island began to turn into a barren desert. Now the king realized his great mistake and asked his countrymen to plant trees across the country.
